About the event

Join us for a guided bird walk around Chesil Beach and Fleet Lagoon, followed by a hot drink and a slice of cake from the Pebble Pig Cafe.

Chesil Beach and Fleet Lagoon are internationally important areas for nature conservation, supporting a diverse range of wildlife and their associated habitats.

We will aim to spot as many species of birds as possible. Following a falling tide offers the best chance to see many of our waders, including sanderling and ringed plover. There will be plenty of time to ask questions, and more information about the nature reserve will be provided throughout the walk.

After the walk, enjoy a hot drink and a piece of cake from the Pebble Pig Cafe, which is included in the ticket price.

The walk will start at 9.30am and will last approximately 1.5 hours. Please aim to arrive five to ten minutes before the start time.
