About the event
Nature journaling is described as "the regular recording of observations, perceptions, and feelings about the world of nature around you." - Clare Walker Leslie.
Journaling is a personal way of discovering nature and deepening your connection to the natural world through words, pictures and numbers. A way to feed your curiosity about the world around you, and to ask questions and find answers, a way for you to make observations and develop skills as an artist, writer or naturalist – or all three!
So if you want to meet like-minded people and rack up those pencil miles, come and join the Dorset Wildlife Trust Nature Journal Club and connect with a community of both artists and naturalists at our regular meet ups.
We meet every four to five weeks at Kingcombe Meadows Nature Reserve to learn new techniques, share skills and enjoy the outdoors.
The best part is that there are no rules! You don't have to be an artist or a scientist to do it, you don't need any experience at all, just a passion for nature and 'a give it a go attitude'.
