Also new for 2020, is the Introduction to Nature Writing, led by local writer and artist, Jenny Hunt. She said, “I’m looking forward to running a creative writing workshop on 21st March 2020, set in the unique environment of The Kingcombe Centre and surrounding nature reserves. A love of words and nature is all that it is required. We’ll discuss the work of published authors and poets, and spend time immersing ourselves in our surroundings, writing notes and impressions. Writing exercises will kick-start the creative process and we will look at different writing techniques. Each person will go home with a personal manuscript – their own special memory of Kingcombe.”
