Dorset Wildlife Trust is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced individual to work within our Nature Recovery Team.

The postholder will be responsible for a range of practical conservation and estate management tasks on our diverse nature reserves across North Dorset. Sites include the iconic Fontmell Down chalk grassland, woodlands including Ashley Wood and the wonderful Bracketts Coppice. Work will include the use of power tools and machinery, a variety of estate management tasks, volunteer leadership and some livestock movement.

We are looking for someone with a broad range of experience in practical conservation management, a good knowledge of wildlife habitats and the ability to work as a team as well as under their own initiative. Some knowledge of habitat and species relevant to the area will be useful. This post will be rewarding and enjoyable, fitting within a highly skilled and vibrant team.

Salary: £27,056 p.a. plus pension and staff benefits package.

The post is full time and will be based at Dorset Wildlife Trust HQ at Brooklands Farm, Forston although will be working out on the North Dorset reserves on a day to day basis.
