About the event

Come along to Kingcombe Visitor Centre and join Dorset Wildlife Trust’s president, Dr George McGavin, one of the UK’s leading authorities on the natural world and acclaimed TV and radio presenter, and microbial ecologist Prof Genoveva Esteban to investigate the fascinating world of pond life (including microbes!)

There will be two drop-in sessions:

  • 10:30am to 12:30pm
  • 1:30pm to 3:30pm

This event is free. No booking required.

Everyone is welcome. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

We will meet at Kingcombe Visitor Centre. Parking is available on site.

This event is organised as part of the Dorchester Science Festival, an exciting programme of events to celebrate British Science Week from 7 - 16 of March 2025!
