About the event
At this family nest box-making workshop, we provide the materials and tools, and with adult help, each child builds a box to take home for the birds in their garden.
The morning will be divided into two separate hour-long sessions, starting at 10 am and 11 am, with a maximum of five children per session. With guidance from Dorset Wildlife Trust staff and the help of accompanying adults, each child will assemble their nest box kit to take home. We provide all the necessary materials, tools, and advice on where to site the box, aftercare, and more.
