About the event

We pop the moth trap out the previous night and it is always exciting to discover what we have caught! The great 'unveiling' begins at 9am, finishing between 10am to 10:30 - depending on how many species we catch.

We meet on the second Thursday of each month - weather permitting. Find us in the car park behind the Urban Wildlife Centre building. All welcome!

What to bring

Appropriate outdoor clothing as we will be looking at the moths outside.
A magnifier or identification keys are useful but not essential.
Patience and good hand eye coordination - some of the moths are very keen to escape!

Safety Information: Moth trap is adjacent to carpark and working area. Minimal traffic, but please be aware.
